Since the company’s inception three years ago, Freedom Fibre has established itself as a key player in the North West’s AltNet community, helping to revolutionise connectivity across the region.
With a rapidly expanding build footprint of over 130,000 homes passed, the business has been hard at work onboarding new internet service providers so as to best reach consumers and is excited to announce a new partnership with Manchester-based Fusion Fibre Group (formerly FACTCO).
As a business providing purely wholesale services, the partnership with Fusion Fibre is an exciting collaboration that enables Freedom Fibre to include a diversified range of ISPs on its network, allowing customers to choose a tailored connectivity solution that best suits their needs. Additionally, what bolsters this partnership are closely aligned company goals. From the start, Freedom Fibre has had a mission of “Connectivity for Everyone,” which can be reflected in Fusion Fibre’s mission statement, which reads;
“Our mission is to bridge the UK’s internet equality gap. We believe everyone deserves access to fast, reliable broadband that packs a punch…no matter where you live.”
Together, Freedom Fibre and Fusion Fibre Group will work to transform and boost connectivity for homes and businesses in the North West. On the announcement of the new partnership, Fusion Fibre Group’s Managing Director, Adrian Marshman, said;
“We’ve applied everything we’ve learnt to date and rolled that into a stronger, customer-centric brand. We feel this new brand perfectly aligns with Freedom Fibre, whose values and approach very much mirrors what we’re trying to achieve. We are looking forward to our partnership with Freedom Fibre going from strength to strength as we embark on this new journey as Fusion Fibre Group.”
Freedom Fibre’s Head of B2B, Lee Sutch, mirrored the excitement expressed by Fusion Fibre on the partnership, saying;
“The team at Freedom Fibre are excited to be partnering with such a forward-thinking and customer-centric business. Fusion Fibre Group have demonstrated a real understanding of customer values coupled with great value service. Freedom Fibre prides itself on working with best-in-class partners such as Fusion to help us to deliver our industry-leading XGS-PON full-fibre services to homes and businesses across the North West.”
Indeed, mere weeks after being onboarded, Fusion Fibre hit the ground running with the first joint Freedom Fibre and Fusion Fibre Group order being placed and successfully installed, providing customers with access to the UK’s fastest and most reliable broadband network*.
This new partnership solidifies both Freedom Fibre and Fusion Fibre Group’s commitment to providing homes and businesses with cutting-edge broadband solutions, and we look forward to continuing this relationship into 2024.
