On her nomination and what tech for good means to her, Marie stated:

“I am thrilled to have been nominated for this award, as a working mother of 2 children I am passionate about my responsibilities at home and in the workplace, I want to be a role model for my children as well as for industry. It’s important that women are recognised and celebrated for the contribution we make and whilst diversity in the workplace is changing, we still have a long way to go, and I truly believe it starts with our children from a very young age and encouraging their future careers in all sectors and roles. I am proud to say that Freedom Fibre recognise the important of having more women in tech roles and our values will continue to support focus on attracting more women into the telecoms sector”.
