Another milestone has been achieved this month and we’re hugely excited to announce that we’ve connected the 1000th customer to our full-fibre network.
Freedom Fibre’s Customer Operations Director, Marie Danby, commented, “This is a significant milestone for Freedom Fibre as we push ahead with our network investment, providing connectivity residents and businesses can depend on”.
Our 1000th customer is already starting to benefit from our investment, futureproofing their connectivity for years to come. This resident was previously suffering from speeds of around 25Mb/s before upgrading to TalkTalk’s Fibre 500 package available on our network.
Our full-fibre service has now been made available and ‘ready for service’ to the majority of homes in Culcheth, Croft, Glazebury, Winwick and Weaverham, which means residents can order up to 500Mb packages through TalkTalk.
Our rollout is also progressing well into Leigh and Newton-Le-Willows while work in areas such as Stockton Heath, Whitchurch and our Head Office town of Irlam are due to go live within the next three months. Further announcements will be published in the following weeks detailing even further expansion in the North West.
